Extrication on Fort Henry Drive in Kingsport

KINGSPORT, TN- Late Monday evening, Kingsport Fire Engine 6  and Sullivan County EMS MED 6 responded to the Fort Henry Drive and Interstate 81 intersection for a reported Motor Vehicle Collision. Upon arrival, units requested an additional med unit and KFD Fire-Rescue 5 to respond. Hydraulic tools and a reciprocating saw were used to remove the top off one of the vehicles to aid in patient access. All the patients were packaged and transported by SCEMS to the local emergency department.  Units cleared the call after the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
