Fire Ignites After Gas Line Hit

0

CROSS PLAINS, TN- Springfield Gas Department Director, George Hall said that a natural gas service-line fire last Thursday was a classic case of the need to call before you dig.

Members of Cross Plains Volunteer Fire Department and Springfield Gas Utility were called to 112 Maple St. in Cross Plains around 4 p.m. last Thursday Dec. 10, when a contractor severed a gas line with a trencher he was operating in the front yard.
