Hurricane Survivor’s House Damaged by Fire

CLARKSVILLE, TN- December 22, 2009.

Carmen Lopez has survived one tragedy in her life and is dealing with another after her house was heavily damaged by fire Monday.

In 1992, Hurricane Andrew destroyed her home in Florida.”I would have never thought I would have a fire,” she said. “It (the hurricane) was pretty devastating, but with the fire, I didn't know it was coming.”
