Submission Types

The Apparatus Showcase is a section to feature departments apparatus. Submissions should include the specifics on the apparatus, and it should also include a brief description of the department.

The New Deliveries section will feature department’s fire apparatus that has been recently delivered and/or recently placed in service. In submissions for this section, please include the specifications of the apparatus and a brief department profile.

TRAINING

The Training section is to feature drills, certification classes, and power point presentations that can help our brothers in the fire service learn about any of the ever changing topics in this line of work. To submit articles for this section, please send an email and attached files to editor@tnfirenews.com.

INCIDENTS & NEWS

The Incident section of the site features the lastest fires, motor vehicle collisions, and any other incident that FIRE and EMS responders assist with. It also contains general press releases from the department and any other news that needs to be released to the public. This includes fund raisers, IAFF news, and the latest news from the department. Photos should be attached to the email that is submitted with a brief description of the incident, responding units, location of incident, time of incident, and any pertinent information. Photos should be at least 600 pixels wide. Submissions can be emailed to editor@tnfirenews.com
